Exact and reliable oxygen measurement with LDO probe and SC 100 controller
LDO: The profile
The LANGE LDO method is based on a completely new, optical principle. The measurement is carried out by way of an oxygen-sensitive coating that is excited by a blue light-emitting diode. After excitation the coating subsequently emits red light. The elapsed time between excitation and emission corresponds to the DO concentration. A further (red) LED is used to compensate for minor variations within the cell.
No more calibrating: Minimal maintenance
No more replacing of the membrane and electrolyte: Easy handling
No flow rate required: Accurate and dependable measurements
No more poisoning of the electrode by H 2 S: Usable for difficult applications
No polarization times: High availability
SC 100: The economical universal controller for decentralised solutions
The new SC 100 controller has two independent probe connectors, with which it can control one or two different digital sensors in parallel. Both measured values are displayed on site and can be transmitted in either analogue or digital form to higher-level control systems. The SC 100 universal controller is preconfigured with conventional control algorithms such as two-position controllers, P, PI and PID controllers and can be easily parameterised on site. It can perform small, clear automation tasks decentrally and cost-efficiently without additional external modules.
